Unlock Your Hidden Secret to Success

by Sonya Shelton

Here’s the secret: You already do – or have done – what you need to grow and scale your business. What do we mean by that?

Some of our clients come to us because they want to grow their business faster, but just get stressed out and overwhelmed by it. They just want to simplify things. Even when their business has grown to 7 or even 8 figures in revenue, they tell us they can’t figure out how to continue growing without working harder than they already do.

We understand. The overwhelm and stress that comes with growing a business makes the work 10 feel times harder. It feels like it takes 500% more work to get 50% more revenue – and this feeling amplifies in this economic climate. It becomes frustrating and is not sustainable for growth.

If this sounds familiar to you, you’re not alone. Nearly every business owner goes through this.

We listened to our clients’ challenges and created the Millions by Design system to solve them. By utilizing this system, it is possible to design your business to grow simply while working as much or as little as you want.

Here’s How YOU Can Get Started Today

In our Millions by Design system, we use just 3 simple keys to unlock your business growth – Clarity, Focus and Momentum. If you want to start growing your business TODAY, follow the steps below:

First thing’s first – you need a clear picture of your situation. Where are you now and where do you want to go? In this first step, you begin to adjust your perspective from dealing with the day-to-day work to getting clarity on your goal.

We start by clarifying your target objective. To do this, ask yourself: Where do you want your revenue to be in the next 90 days or the next year?

Next, we want to look at where you are now. To begin drawing out your roadmap, you have to establish your starting point – What is your current revenue?

For more clarifying questions to help you in this step, read our article on Clarity here.

Now, you can see where you are and your future goal. What is the gap between where you are now and where you want to be?

Eliminate Overwhelm with Focus

Once you have Clarity, we want to bridge the gap to your target objective. How do we do that? We focus on what’s working well and do more of it. Your current and past successes ARE your hidden secrets to continued future success.

Business owners love doing new things, but we can often find significant growth by building on what works.

Take a look back over the past 12 months or 24 months – or really anytime you can remember. What was the best month you ever had?

This is important. Take the time to really do this. Once you’ve found your best month, we want to look at three things:

  • How much sales volume did you do?
  • What products or services did you sell?
  • How did you sell it? (Did you run a specific ad? What promotions did you use? Did you do a direct mail piece? Did you do an online campaign?)

Once you have Clarity about your target objective, you can Focus on what’s working well and what worked well before. Focus on what’s worked best and what you can do again. Then, you can build growth Momentum by doing more of what works.

Finding Focus – Case study

Here is an example of how finding focus can lead you to your best success yet:

One client found the best month in the past year made $250,000 in revenue. They increased sales in that particular month through a holiday promotion which included a discount code.

To reach their target objective, this client tested doing more offers. Instead of just one holiday promotion, they did a holiday promotion every month. And doing just that one simple thing had a huge effect on their business.

You see, the best way to get started today is to take a look at what’s working in your business and focus on doing more of that. It’s just that simple.
